ABSTRACT: The frequency of natural oscillations of the gas column in intor-
stage compressor lines is determined chiefly by the geometric characteristics
of the lines and the volumes connected by them. Therefore an acoustic method
may be used for determining this parametor. This requires excitation of
acoustic vibrations by a specz~U radiator placed at tho end of one of the
lines with receivers at vari0ft-oints on the line where the gas column is
in oscillation. The authors describe a stand developed for this purpose*

TITLE. Study of the "memory effect" in ferrites
PERIODICAL; Akademiya nauk SSSR. Doklady, v. 140, no. 5,
TEXT: The authors studled this "memory effect" with comparati-ely
power control signals (1.0-9 - 10-5 watts). The effect was distinc-tly
marked and could be measured by the method and apparatus proposea .UY
