A theoretical consideration of the method according to Ostromyslenskiy-Zhob was dealt wizh. By moans of practical examples of complexes with a composition of 1 : 1, 1 : 2 and 1 : 3 it was found that the displac ement obtained for the maximum satisfactory agreed with the one cal- culated. In using non-equimolar solutions also a displacement of the maximum to the middle of the diagram may occur. The obtained luminor had blue EL at a Cr concentration 5 X 10-4 - 10-9 g/g. A similar luminor without Cr has no EL. The experiment Is regarded as proof of the possibility of existence of an ion-hole excitation mechanism of electroluminors by a field, and of the special role played by the transition metals as activators and co-activators in EL of ZnS.
