Seriya fizicheakaya, 7 24i no. 7, 1960, 934-938 TEXT; The present paper has been read at the 10th All~Union Conference on Nuclear Spectroscopy, Moscow, January 19-27, 1960, A proportiona' served to measure the relati-ve intensities of the K- and L emisaions of Hr, 00, DY 159, Nd 140 + Pr 140~ and Sm145. These isotopes were obtained by the chromatographic separation of rare earths, the latter being chemically separated from a tantalum target irradiated with 660-Mev protons on the synchrocyclotron of the OIYaI. The S K and SI were found from the lirivG determined experimen-,ally after deduction of the background,. The latter was determined by means of a filter made of 0.8 mm -,admium, 0.5 mm -;opper, and 0.5 mm aluminum~ Quanta up to 60 kev were completely absorbed by this filter,, quanta with more than 200 kev were allowed to pass, Results are ,ollected in Table 1. With the aid of these values, the.ratios k LA K between the'sapture probabilities of the electrons from L- and K shells were calnulated, These values are given in Table 2, It is ncted, however. that they exhibit a considerable error. The experimental results obtained for the Tai62.---) W182 decay are illtztrated in the decay zcheme. The transiti!Dns B and C are well known. The present paper gives deta!15 concerning transition A.
