Abstract: Existing data were confirmed by the'author's experience,
namely that con-batIng warble flies by lubricating the
extremities of the animals with PDT emulsion or with
hexacloran Y -isom?r.every 2 weeks during the time when
the flies lay eggs, proves to be ineffective. The
preparations rapidly lost their insecticidal properties
on the animal skin and did not kill larvae which hatched
