Abstract: Interaction of (NH4)2NoO and of K4 [Fe(CN)61,
K4[Pe(CN )5 N02 1, K3LFe(CN15NH3], and K 3(Fe(CN )5 H201
in acid media was investigated. It was established
that in all the cases formation of complexes (1:1)
is independent of pH. H2W04 does not react with
the above indicated complex cyanides. Molal co-
efficient of absorption and ~4(max) of the comple.,.,
cyanide compounds with H2MOO4 were determined.

Abstract: The reaction kinetics of iodine, in a solution
with gaseous S02 on the phase boundary was in-
vestigated. The first reaction determined by
the equation S02 / In / 2H29 = H2SO4 2HI (1),
were examined. The effect of various factors
on the reaction (1) was studied. It was de-

The variation of the reaction rate constant
with the temperature is insignificant. The
increase of the liquid phase mixing rate ac-
celerates the process. The lower the visco-
sity of the solvent, the higher the rate of re-
action. Solutions of 12 in ethyl, raethyl and
isopropyl alcohols with various aqua contents,
as well as in pure water were investigated.
The rate of reaction drops with the decrease
of the boundary surface. The addition of light
metal salts accelerates the investigated con-
version. Studies were carried out in 0.5 DMI,

was investigated according to the equation

is yellow. Its concentration has been deter-

Abbtract: pressure of--760 millimeters of the mercury
column and a temperature of 00 - 350C the dir-
ect as well as the inverse reactions are of the
first order. The equilibrium constant K equals
0.319. The rate of reaction increases insigni-
ficantly with the rise of the temperature, K
does not depend on the pressure of SOp;lowever,
the higher the pressure of SO 21 the more quickly
is equilibrium established. The reaction (1)
is exothermic; the complex HI-SO2 decomposes
completely with the rising of the temperature.

TM: The absorption spectra of solutions of complex compounds of molybde-
num acid with complex cyanides of iron, molybdenum and tungsten were investigated
in the region 250 - 550 m~Lat pH 1 - 7. Spectral curves are given. It has been
found that the spectra of the indicated compounds (except those containing tung-
sten) are similar and have two absorption maxima at 310 - 330'and 360 - 400 mj~L.
The structure of the formed complexes is discussed. There are 26 references. For

vibration equation that describes the vibrational functions of the- non-
adiabatic wave function of the electron excited state of a dimer tinder

Abstract: A method of preparing and the properties of the ion ex-
changer "icnit" are described. The feasibility of using
such paper for the chromatographic quantitative determina-
tion of cations is presented. The error in the determina-
tion did not exceed 4% in 100)cgrams tests. Examples of
alkaline earth metal and alkali metal determination as well
as water hardness determination are given.
