Abstract Determination of approximate values of overall Mass-
transfer coefficient kp, and also of partial mass-trans-
fer coefficients k in gas film, and k. in liquid film,
in process of sulj& dioxide absorption in solution of
basic aluminum sulfate. It was found that the rate of
absorption depends on values of both partial coeffi-
cients. It follows therefrom that resistances of (p-
seous and liquid film are quantities of same order.

TEXT: 3 parts by weight of water are added to.1 part by weight of
unpurified-,-IC6 powder (or paste) obtained hydro-pyrometallurgically-from
sludge 'and containing -5~& Fe, 1 % Mn, - 0. 2%. Cu, -0.2% C and , 1%
The mixture is heated to 80-900C and small amounts of 65% HNO3 are metered
into it while it is energetically mixed for 2 hours without filtering until
the metal is fully dissolved (3#8 ml HNO, per gram of Co), whereupon the
solution is then diluted with water to a Co opntent of 90
-100 g11. A 50 9/1
solution of KMnO is mixed energetically into the dilute solution, which

Sixty-one patients were examined, In the ECG the lowered ST segment at least in
2 leads was found In 9 cases and flattened. two-phase or negative T wave in 10
patients. These abnormalities are probably due to damage of the myocardium by
one of the following factors: action of specific virus, toxic influence of icterus,
protein disturbances or disturbances of oxidizing processes in myocardium. In
9 patients there were ECG signs of vagotonia. The size of the ventricular gradient
was normal but with tendency to low values, In several patients anrne aonornialluea
