'A reduction of BOD by 70% was achieved. The final
purification of waste waters is possible in lagoons
together with other waste waters. It is recommended
to carry out the purification of beer brewery waste
waters in two-stage lagoonse The reduction of BOD
is to 90% (the residual BOD is 47 mg per liter).

ferrites sintered at 1100 or 1-200 C were rather less active. At x = 0.5
the apparent density of ferrites was found to be.very low, indicating that

effect. Furthermore, it was the most active ferrite, sintered at 11

temperature. At 1200 and 1230 0 a content of 0.% V205 (by ,iei&t) only alight-

pp 1033-1035
Abstract: [Authors' English summary modified] The authors
describe a case of familial neurove-etative dysautonomia
in a five-months old baby, idiich exhibited all the typical
manifestations of the syndrome, as described by Riley, with
the exception of two: There was no disturbance of tear
excretion in crying, and the child was of a non-semitic
origin. Infant died after three months of observation in
the clinic because of pneumonia. Histopathological study
of the brain revealed no morphological anomalies. There
are 10 references: Polish, German, and 4 English.
