It was established that the temperature, pH of the medium and the speed of the air passing through Greatly influence the reaction speed. The speed of the oxidation reaction is the opti- at'750, provided the alkalinity of the solution cor- responded to I n. of NaoH. Tu order to reach the optimum reaction speed at 950, it is necessary to decrease the al- kalinity to pH 13. This is explained by the fact that Card 1/2 POLAND/Physical Chemistry Kinetics, Combustion, Explosiions, B-9 Topochemistry, Catalysis. At x = 0.5 the apparent density of ferrites was found to be.very low, indicating that 'he surface formed is very large, which does not explain the catalytic effect. The magnetic mcanureme 2 5 made by Dr. A Wrzeciono by means of the Weiso-Ferrer method on apparatus built at the Zaklad Ferrcmagnetykov Instytutu, Fizyki PAN, Poznan (Ferrcmagnetica De- partment of the Physics Institute PAN). The results show that the magnetic parameters of the ferrites are affected by both the type and the amount of ad- mixture. In the case Of V205 and 11b205 the effect varies with the nintering temperature. At 1200 and 1230 0 a content of 0.% V205 (by ,iei&t) only alight- ly'affects the coercive force. Vol 13, N~o 28, 8 Jul 63, pp 1033-1035 Abstract: [Authors' English summary modified] The authors describe a case of familial neurove-etative dysautonomia in a five-months old baby, idiich exhibited all the typical manifestations of the syndrome, as described by Riley, with the exception of two: There was no disturbance of tear excretion in crying, and the child was of a non-semitic origin. Infant died after three months of observation in the clinic because of pneumonia. Histopathological study of the brain revealed no morphological anomalies.
