Abstract : Study of kinetics of interaction of di-(carbomethoxysulfanylyl)-amino-
thiazole (I) with 2-aminothiazole (II) in C6H Cl- It was found that
yield of monocarbomethozy-sulfanylyl aminothiazole (IIf) is considera-
bly lower than th6 theoretical due to fornation of by-products Presen-
ted are kinetic curves of the dependence of the yield of III upon dura-
tion and temperature of the reaction. Mean values are detemin8d of ve-
loc'ity constants of the formation of III from I~ at 100 and 115 , which
are (1 - 32 + 25%) - 10-3 - mole':1 and (4. 414- 21$). 0-3 mole-1 min- , respec -
tively. Activation energy'of the pro'c*gss is'calculated as being 12000
calories. From carbomethoxy-sulfa+nylylahl6ride and the hydrochloride
of II is prepared I., MP 196-1970 (from alab hol). Into 100 ml C6H5C'

Isistivity p of Nb-C alloys in the region of the homogeneity of the monocfibide of Nb.
!The NbC samples were prepared by sintering. Hot pressing was under a load of 150
mm2 in an argon atmosphere at the following temperatures: NbCo.80 - 2100% MC0.88
- 2200% and NbCo.qs - 2350'; the average porosity of the samples amounted in this
case to 25 - 30%. The samples were annealed for three hours at 2000* and were slowly
cooled for six hours. A plot of the'dependence of p, H., and the lattice period (a) on i
the content of the bound C is presented. The growth of 1~ with increasing C content i
.attributed to the increase in the binding forces when the carbide approaches the stoi-
chiometric composition, to the increase in the Me-C binding forces, and also to the
hindrance of the deformation as,a result of the penetration of C atoms into the octa-
hedral pores of the lattice. With increasing C in the phase, the defectness of the Nb
atom levels decreases, which decreases also the scattering ability p. With increasing

'ABSTRACT: The (d,P) cross section Zr92 and Zr94 for 13.6 MeV deut;-

ment with'Dutler's theory. The possible and most probable spins and parities of the:
,states were determined and are-tabulated. The reduced widths a4d*spcctroscopic fac-
tors were derived by the method of M.H.Maefarlane and J.D.French (Rov.Mod.Phyp.23,
567,i960) and are tabulated. The oxperimentnl results for G074 and S078 are 4is-
,cussed in terms of the collective model, which has been successfully applied to the
interpretation of the Coulomb excitations of these nuclei (F.K.UcGowan, and P.H.Stel
son,Phys.Rev.126,257,196~). The ratio of the reduced width of the first oxcited
state to that of the ground state was found to be in agreement with the theoretical'
prediction for both nuclei. The resolution achieved in the measurement of the pro-
ton angular distribution for the second excited state of S078 was not sufficient for
an adequate comparison with the theory. The spectroscopic factors found for the
ground states of Zr93 and Zr95 were in good agreement with those calculated with the
shell model, and with those found by D.L.Cohen and O.Y.Chubinsky (Phys.Rev.1k,2184,
1963)s The neutron was captured by Zr92 and Zr94 in a d5/2 state when the ground
state was formed, and in an s1/2 state when the first exq1ted state was formed, This

Abstract t The conductivity of an, electrical current in various electrolyte baths
was investigated by the Central Scientific Research Bureau of the
Altay Tractor Plant and the results are describede The Oecific
electrical conductivity of electrolytes increases with the increase in
rate ofinotion and concentration.of ions. It was established that the
specific electrical conductivity in the case of weak solutions affacts
the appearance of spark discharges in the cathode, The origination
of spark discharges,in the cathode is due to different concentrations
of electrolytes of uniform electrical conductivity. The effect of
~lectrolyte-temperature onits conductivity is expla"ned. Tableej
