Diphtheria bacilli showed In In-vitro tests their Austeptibility toward biornycin and
streptomycin with a lesser degree'to, ekmolin, and the highest susceptibility to the
combination of biomycin, streptomycin and eltmolin. This rwould indicate a syner.
Istic action of all 3 antibiotics. The therapeutic tests also nhowed the highest of-
f
ect in the combination of all 3 antibiotics even when used in smaller dosage. Oral
administration of blomycin with ekmolin caused in diphtheria carriers a rapid
