TITLE: A sy7=etric wide angle aerial photographic lens. Class 42, No. 183426
SOURCE: Izobreteniya, promyshlennyye.obraztsy,.tovarnyye znaki, no. 13, 1966, 88
TOPIC TAGS: aerial camera lens, optic element, light aberration
ABSTRACT: This Author's Certificate introduces a symmetric vide angle aerial photo-
graphic lens which contains two negative elements and a positive component consisting
of two cemented three-lena units. The lens is designed for inartased relative aper-
_--ture -with -simultaneous -correct ion- - for- aberration particularly-_--spherical -aberratlon
_--b-6th-i-n the enter of the visual field and in broad oblique rays. Two positive
lenses are added to the positive component,vith-& focal length of 20-30% that of the
d'oJective.. There is a 0.2-1.0 ratio between the difference in the refractive indices
of the materials used in the elements of the three-lens component which fom cemented
radii which are concave toward the diphragm, and the difference in the refractive in-
dices of the material used for the elements in the same component which form cemented
radii which are convex toward the diaphragm. The cemented surfaces which are con-
cave toward the diaphragm are lobated at a distance equal to 10-25% of the focal
length of the objective.
