Xbstract rAuthors' English summary modified.7: An inatrument de-
signed b the RUthors is described; it is b-9sed on particle fil-
tration by a membrane filter. LiRht transparency of the filter
is recorded. The accumulation of the particles on the membrane
influences the amount of light passing through it. The accumul-
ation is proportional to the amount of particles contained in the
atmosphere. Evaluation of thf-. results is made by a gravimotric
analysis. The recorded curve is used for the detorm'Ination of
the relative amounts of aerosols in the air during the investig-
ated period of time, The.instrument has an accuracy of + 5%,
