Abstra:!t This is a description of 2 cases of EwinG's earconn
located in the neck of the femur in men 23 and 34
years of aCe. The patients were hospitalized with a
hiGh fever 3 m)nths after the appearance of symptoins.
The post-operative histoloGic diagnosis was L,ringts
sarc,,):~n. A course of X-ray therapy was Given vItich
resulted in a rapid but transitory improvement.
Death occurred 8-9 months after the onser of disease.
The autopsies revealed nun-,rous metastases into various
orCuns with no bony metastases.
