PERIODICAL: Vestnik Elektropromyshlennosti,19597Nr 21PP 76-77(USSR)
ABSTRACT: Because of its simplicity and reliability direct current
relay type KDR has come to be widely used. It is
evident from tho manufacturors' cataloguo that thore
exist at least 1,135 different variants of this type of
relay. Still other types are required by other
organitations not concerned with this particular
catalogue. Because of this great range of different
types it is very difficult to organi*e mass production of
these relays on a conveyor. In point of fact, in 1957
only 200 of the variants of the relay were actually
ordered and in 1958, 300, the extension of the range
mainly resulting from publication of the'catalogue.
Card 1/2 Most of the orders were covered by a very few types of
relay and many of the orders required only a small

number of relays. The number of different variants
of this type of relay can be very easily cut down.

PERIODIC IAL:Vestnik elektropromyshlermosti, 19599 Nr 5o Pp 16-18 (USSR)
ABSTRACT.,. Plug-in "codingt' relays type KDRSh are used in remote-
control equipment when it is important to be able rapidly
to replace one relay by another. They differ from relays
type KDR only in the use of the plug-in connections.
A catalogue-style description is then given of the panels
in which the relays are mounted. Four variants of the
relay with various time-characteristics and contact
arrangements are then briefly described. The sockets
into which the relays plug are briefly described.
Photographs are given of typical relays and sockets,
also an assembled relay panel.. Overall dimensions of
relays and sockets are given in Table 1. The electrical
characteristics of the relays are stated and the
mechanical characteristics appear in table 2. The delay
times obtainable are givon in table 3. The relay is

exceeding 2 A or five million on half this current
provided that the contacts are cleaned and the springs
adjusted after every million operations. There are
figures and 3 tables.

A13STRACT: In existing resonqnoe*Udg= of induction transmitters with a
high degree of displacement and with chokes and relays in series,
a minirmim current flows in the receiver if there is no action of
ferromagnetio objects upon the induction transmitter. Range of
applicability: Railroads, elevators, cranes, etc. This current
may, however, increase to such an extent in the case of consider-
able fluctitm-tions of the network, that it exceeds the magnitude
of the current releasing the relay, thus causing a mistaken in-
dication. I c4rci t
