was produced from fission products. In the. soIurce, Zr95::;and its daughter

product Nb were nearly in equilibrium. In Fig. 1p the~.spectrum of the:
recoil electrons is represented. In the energy range of:,fromA00 to
1200 kev only two lines (720 + 5,and 762 +.2 kov) WeTe ObaerOed. The first
line belongs to Zr95, Accordiig to data obtained by other authoreq two
lines should be present within the range of the second line,at 757 and
767 kev. The values obtained by the authors permit no separation of them

Moscow. The jr-emission of Tb160 was invest igated by means of two r-spe;ctrb"
meters, which evaluate the recoil electrons of the rytron and the'elotron,-'~.
their source was Oo146 g terbium oxide with an activity of roughly
800 millicuries. By means of the rytronp,the spectrum vas investigated
according to the photoelectrons within the energy range froml 80 to 300'kev;
as a converter, a bismuth target was used. From 200 to~~ 1700~ kev the spec-
trum was investigated according to the recoil electrons under conditions
that are normalfor a rytron and an elotron. In Fig. 1,the photoelectron
spectrum, obtained by means of the rytron, in Fig. 2 the recoil electron

Abstract Experimental work was carried out on determtaatioi of the
rate of cooling of Salmonoid fishes in filling barrels of
2.5 centner capacity, and on keeping them in cooli& sea
water at a temperature of minus 0.5-10 can:be attained in
1.5-2 hours in the case of humpback.salmn) ~Id 2~245
hours in the case of Siberian: salmon. At this temperatu-
re the physico-chemical changes in the body of fish occur
at a decreased rate; after keeping for 48hours. Sibe-ritm
salmon is still in the state of rigor mortis.

action of the pbytoncides, quality and appearancts of the fish are im-
