V. Sidorov. _Kazakh State University; Mascow, Astr_anomicheskiy Vestnik, Vol IV, Itro 1, 1970, pp 43-48) The authors proposed the oblique scattering method for studying the orbits of small meteor bodies at the IAU Symposium No 33 in 1961; this paper now describes practical investigations of the method. Since 1965 the methad has been used in measuring 3,200 radiants and the velocities of individual sparndic meteors brighter than approximately +81Dr. The mean square err.ars far measuring radiant coordinates are 2�.S and for v~lticity 1.5 km/sec. T`heye e:~timales were confirmed nn the bns:[s of ol~s~~rvatiaa:a of the Geminids stream.
