Translation: A variation was developed of a D110togr9phic _,ethord of producinp,
electoluminescent panels. A glass substrate with a transparent electrcdie of'
otannic oxide is covered by a thin (10--.15 micron) layer winlicin is euzidly
dissolved in organic solunta of lacquer (e.g., nitrocellulcoe'. On thu eurface
of the lacquer film a protective stencil is established by the method of photc-

electroluminophor with a specified color of luminescence is deposited onto t~-e
surface of the subctrate. Fixinp of the luminophor on the ahir-li n;IotUref3_;E;t

"Effect of Intense Optical Emission on the Threshold of linstability of
Spin Waves in the Case of Parallel Pumping"
Leningrad, Fizika. Tverdogo Tela, Vol 111, No 8, Aug 72, rp 2446-2U,--1--'
Abstract: A single cr%stal of yttrium ferrite-,garnet in the fcrr~ of a
rectangular prism measurinG 3x4xl3 rirn, with polished faces,"ravin- its
axis coincident with crystallographic direction [111] -was placed ir 'he
center of a reflective cylindrical cavity with TEO), node. is sucl'. a way
that the axis of the specimen coincided with the axis of 'he cavity.
Pumping was by 300-ps square pulses with a prf of 9.h JUDTI-C-8 lnst~r
emission wai focused normal to the surface of the crystal in the center
of the side face. A reduction was observed in the threshold Gf insta-
bility of spin waves which was attributed to the absorption of 21!F pcr,:!,-r
by particles knocked from 'he surface of the specimen into the cavity
region where there was a strong alternating electric field.
