The authors deal almost exclusively with the fore-ing literature. The only Soviet reference is to I. M. POLYAKOV et al., who established that the development of brown rust of wheat de~,reases in direct relation to the exposure time for seeds in a solu- tion of VLtavax and the content of the active ingredient. In plot experimnts seeds inm-rsed in a one-percent solution of the chemical for 60 minutes showed four tims less rust than control. The article considers the mechanism of the systemic fungicidal action of 1.,4-oxathiin derivatives. 1/1 LY S S R UDC: 632.934.1 KLJ1W,E.j1M, S. 5.1 ana DVOYM-ENKOVA, E.
