Abstract: The quality of the image formed by an optical system is determined
by its contrast-frequencyceharacteristic or the contrast transmission function'

System, N is the spatial frequency). A study was made Lo duLrmine how fiber-
glass affects the contrast-frequency characteristic of the system. The fiber-
glass introduces a contrast distortion and violates the above relation. The
degree of the distortions depends on the relations of the fiberf!lass apertures
and the other system elements. The conditions most acceptable for measuring
the contrast-frequency characteristics of the fiberglass are as follows:

PROBABLY, LIPIDS. NUCLEOTIDE COMPOSITION OF THE RNA FRACTION WAS
STUDIED AFTER COMPLETE REMOVAL OF RIBOSOMES (BOTH FREE AND BOUND) FROM
NUCLEAR MATERIAL. NUCLEOTIDE COMPOSITION OF THIS RNA FRACTION
