Abstract: Results are presented from experimental stud4es of tile I.ntenatLy
fluctuations of the induced endssion of a gas laser in Che 0,.1-10 hertz rani j!.
Distribution curves were calculated fron the results on a digWil conpuLer,
and good agreement was detected with normal gaussian discribution. A curve is
presented corresponding to a gas dirtcharge tube current Ali 14 milliamps and
another for 9 milliamps. The magnitude of the fluctuat.itiplis for tile second
case turned out to be less. 11e magnitude of the ilitenKtty fluctuations of
the induced laser radiation increased as the frequency dropped, rind at f -% 0.1
hertz it reached -2-10-3 of the mean value of the radiatipli intensity of the
laser. The measurements were performed in a broad frequeticy band. An expres-
sion is presented for the mean square noise current.
