during the action of the laser pulse. The ligbt source for studying the 0
photoluminescence spectrum was a (He-Ne) laser with a iravelength of 63Z8 A -
For each sample the emission speotrum was recorded In several places for both
the damaged and undamaged areas of the sounple.
The photoluminescence spectra for all swaples mt 29,10 X Nad only one

the damaged regions being only a third to a fourth off tho unission intensity
for the undamaged regions. The photo I uminescen ce spertra of the p-type Sam-

Abstract: The concept of an integrative system for analyzing, stimuhis intro-
duced. This dynamic system unifies the central components Of the variu%ls
analyzers which measure or sense stimuli and tranaform t~hem Into neural
processes. Its function is evaluating external factors. affei:ting the or-
ganism according to their biological significance, usstrq, cormergence, com-
parison of internal and external stimuli and synthesis c:E Werent impulses,
leading to action, inhibition or reinforcement. The isdJustmont factor used
is the most biologically significant stimulus. In this proct!ss the analy2ilig
system also stimulates the brain stem and controls a aoimipecl, fic activation
apparatus. Ex7-eriments by the author and others concermfng brilin stem
