(before and after the threshold) by the formation of statIc domains and exrernal
negative conductivity obtained as a result of depression of the domains by the
probe signal is used for tl:is purpose. By appropriate selection of the param&-
ters of the specimen and the material it is possible forithe described devices
to operate on medium and high power levels where the dyna
mic attenuation range
depends on the microwave signal level.

"Frequency Control of Gunn-Effect Oscillators by a Magnetic Field"
Kiev, Izvestiya vazov SSSR., Radioelektroaika, Vol XV, No 8, 1972, pp 945-948
Abstract: Experimental data are presented on magnetic frequency control of
Gunn-effect oscillators in the suppressed.domain mode. The control is realized
by magnetization of a ferrite filling part of the three-dimensional resonator
containing the Gunn diode. Correspondence, was obtained between the experimen-
tal results and the analyti.zal expressions for tuning obtained in the pertur-
bation method approximation.. When operating in the fields far from ferro-
magnetic resonance, an acceptnble tuning band iB.insured with good nonuniform~-
ity -of the output power. The parameters are improved by rational selection of
the resonance system.

TTanslationt The book takes up the organization of working capital in indus-
try on the principles of profit-and-los5 accounting, as well as questions
relating to the improvement of plan-ning through the methodu of nathematical
.ecQnomica. A procedure iz shown for computer-aided calou.ItLtion of aggre-

one's own capital and the demand for bank credit. The requirements that must
be met by the economic information. for.the computer-aided evaluations are

Translation: Independent organization of operating capital in industry -and
problems of the improvement of planning using mathematical economics methods
are discussed. A method is demonstrated for computer calculation of the over-
all requirement for operating capital, determination of the optimal ratio
between equity capital and debt capital. Requirements for economic informa-
ations are outlincd.
