It was established that all of the iso- lated strains were varieties of Hong XongAZ influenza-. Strains were sensitive to inhibitors and nonpathogenic- and nontoxic to adult white mice. Inoculation of. newborn white mice with these strains caused death in 50-6Qp of the experi- mental animals. The strains e.,Lqibited -,;oak enzymatic activity and caused little elution from chick erythrocytes even.aftor 2- hours of intA~Draction.
