As you know, Sec. 7(B)(2) of Executive Order 11652 requires the
head of each Department originating or handling classified infor-
mation or material to designate a senior member of his staff who
shall insure effective compliance with and implementation of
this Order and who shall also chair a departmental committee
which shall have authority to act on all suggestions and complaints
with respect to the Department's administration of the Executive
order.
In order that the Interagency Classification Review Committee
may have an updated list of such departmental chairmen, please
furnish us with the name, specific office address, and the phone
-number of the Departmental Review Committee chairman in your
agency or department. Also, please keep the ICRC currently
informed of any change in his or her name, address or phone
number.
