2. Background Information: Included within the approved
25X1A ~ FY 79 budget is a line item under maintenance for roof
repair and replacement, various buildings,= in the amount 25X1A
of $100,000.00. The firm of has been 25X1A
selected to provide the design or this project based on their
previous experience and expertise on roofing renovation 25X1C
projects. A proposal in the amount of 9500.00 has been re-
ceived but is subject to negotiation prior to acceptance.
Roofing work selected for this project are those considered 25X1A
most urgentl in need of re air and include' and
25X1A portions of A/E design contract documents
are being prepare in accordance with 25X1A
25X1A . It is certified that approved
funds are available in the amount of $100,000.00 for the design
and construction under FAN 9173-0001. (S)
3. Recommendation: It is therefore requested that a
Delegation of Authority be granted to the Director, 25X1A

and administration of a firm, fixed-price design contract in
the amount not to exceed $9500.00 for Roofing Improvements,
