1. (C) As a result of discussions between members of
our staffs on the possibility of using a 2.5 meter antenna
reflector with small satellite field terminals'. PDSC-31,
the specification for a new, small, field terminal incorporated
such an antenna size. Your input and comments on this
specification, transmitted by the reference, and your response
to subsequent evaluations and reviews.have been appreciated.
2. (C) The first terminal, available for installation
in July 1978, will be subjected to intensive testing prior
to giving approval for production of the remaining terminals.
This approval is required contractually within four months
