1. On 6 March 1978, a meeting was held to discuss
various aspects of Project SAFE. Attendees were:
a. HEB/RECD/OL

concern. These centered around space for the SAFE computer
center and utilities support for that center.

3. A future potential problem area is that for pro-
curement and installation of UPS systems for the computer

requirements or technical parameters on which to base
a UPS solicitation until after the successful computer
hardware vendor has been identified. This will not
allow enough time for UPS equipment to be procured and
installed before computer equipment is expected to be
on line.

7 March 1978, and as a result an amendment to the RFII
will be issued incorporating IIEB's input.

SUBJECT: SAFE Meeting
5. IIEB stated that it would be most beneficial to
have funds available for the SAFE 2500 kW generator by
the end of April.1978 so that it might arrive in time
to be installed by a contractor to be selected by GSA
in April 1978. In order to aid in making STATINTL
funding decisions, HEB will wor wits his staff to develop
a project schedule which highlights the need for various
amounts of.facilities money at certain milestones. STATINTL
is interested in a total plan for timing and amount o.
