MEMORANDUM FOR, THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Program Call FY 1979 LSD (Line Item) Computer Terminal
Installation
1. LSD program call for FY'1979 includes a line item for computer
terminal installation in connection with project SAFE. The undersigned
in previous conversations with O/Compt personnel had been advised that
all budgetary projections and funding for project SAFE was to be processed
by the DDI.
STATINTL 2. Because of this understanding I called 1 1 (22 March
1977) and stated that a line item had been included in the LSD program
STATINTL call FY 1979 that was for project SAFE. I istated that this was
not his understanding of project SAFE budgeting and funding and that I
should call DDI/B&F and get the matter resolved.
J ~ ~~~ L 3. I called and posed the same question. He
was unable to give me an immediate answer but said he would look into
STATINTL the question and call back. after consultation with
Mr. Harry Eisenbeiss called and stated that the computer technical
installation should be included in the DDT. budget and not the OL/LSD
budget. This information was passed to LSD and RECD..
