I see nothing in H.R.
2545 which would cause the
Agency problems. It would be
nice to be able to get in on
the multi-year contracting
authority they are proposing
(Sec. 2301 (a)1, Page 2,
Line 11, 12) but I don't
think we can "adopt" it.
I am presently wrestling with
our current Agency authoritie
on this subject and it would
be helpful to have some
specific identification in
our law.
We forwarded a copy of
H.R. 2545 to the C/PMS/OL
for their review. They may
respond directly or pass
their comments through us.
