Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs
A BILL
To extend by six months the expiration date of the Defense
Production Act of 1950.
1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 That the first sentence of section 717(a) of the Defense Pro-
4 duction Act of 1950 (50 U.S.C. App. 2166(a)) is amended by
5 striking out "March 31, 1983" and inserting in lieu thereof
6 "September 30, 1983".
