1. In my meeting with Senator Bayh on Friday, 17 November 1978,
we discussed the Kampiles case. We agreed that after the Congress
reconvenes I would come up and give them a full rundown on Kampiies,
the Operations Center, and security in general.
2. I further agreed that I would take the first opportunity to
brief Senator Goldwater on a number of aspects of the Kampiles case
that Senator Bayh wanted me to talk to him about.
3. I'd like to know soon what briefings we have given to Chairman
Boland on Kampiles and, regardless of what we have done, I'd like to set
up a meeting with him at the first convenience.
