Dear Klaus:
As I told you before departing to breast the storm out
to my home in suburbia last night, T am most grateful for
your participation in the discussion/dinner last night. Your
ten-minute lecture was superb and just what the occasion
demanded. So were your contributions to the discussion after,
wards. I am only sorry that Bob Bowie couldn't be there,
If you will send me an account of your expenses
preferably with hotel bill and rail ticket stub r- I shall
see that you are reimbursed and that you receive your consultant's
check promptly this time.
I' shall telli Director, Center for the Study of
Intelligence, of your in erest in his undertaking and probable
willingness to help with advice and counsel. I'll give him
your address and telephone numbers so he can make contact with
you directly if he wishes. I-might add that if the research.
program that Stan Turner mentioned last night, with me in charge
(if I interpreted him correctly), gets rolling I may have some
further need for your advice and counsel myself,
Warm regards,
25X1
