This is a senior History major colloquium on a special topic: espionage in history. The course has 16 or 17 students,all History majors at UNH. The students know that a guest speaker is coming but they will not know any details until the speaker appears in class on November 6th Thursday, 2-4PI in the Social Science Center,Rm 445, 4th floor. There will be no publicity. My goals in this advanced history course are: to enable students to view intelligence and espionage in historical perspective; to view major issues in these fields from several points of view,both national and international; and to learn methods of oral and written presentations of research projects, specifically using cases from the history of intelligence.
