1. Mr. a CIA recruiter, has requested
that I be with him on 7 November at the University of Utah
to interview science and engineering students. He also
requested that I speak to the student chapter of the IEEE.
The subject would be "CIArs Need for Scientists and
Engineers to Collect, Process and Analyze Intelligence
Information." Of course the entire discussion will be
unclassified. I presented a comparable. talk to a compa-
rable group of students at Brigham Young University last

2. Mr. a CIA recruiter, has requested that
I be with him on 21 and 22 November at the University
of Mississippi and Memphis State University to interview
science and engineering students. He also requested that
T speak informally to certain faculty members and a small
number of science and engineering students at the University
of Mississippi. My discussion here would be less formal
than the one at the University of Utah but would basically
include the same material.' It is possible that Bill-will
want me to hold a similar informal discussion at Memphis
State University.

a few remarks at the end of his talk ab the use of

if Z should do this that 2 should speak far only ten min
sites or so.
