SUBJECT : Request to Speak Before Dartmouth College Student Group
I request approval to make an informal presentation to a group of
Dartmouth students interested in foreign affairs on February 15. The
invitation was issued by Ms. Eleanor Shannon under the auspices of a
Dartmouth College Department of Government program which brings speakers
to the campus once a month to discuss matters of general foreign policy
interest. I propose giving an unclassified presentation on the "Pros-
pects and Peculiarities of the Southern Africa Liberation Movements"
focusing on the underlying tribal, ideological, sociological, and geo-
graphic differences and similiarities of the liberation groups in
Angola, Zambia, Namibia, and Mozambique. Ms. Shannon also requested
that I attend a "breakfast seminar" and possibly one or two government
classes the next day. Cost to agency would involve plane fare from
Washington, D.C. to Hanover, N.H. and food and lodging in Hanover for
