from West Point visiting on April 14th. So
far, we have confirmed only with the Arabic
Language Club. Russian and Chinese clubs-will
be formally requesting visits shortly. Others
may too. They will arrive at 1:30 on their
own bus. They will send names and verificatio
of Secret clearances at least 3 weeks prior.
I will arrange later. for NFAC analysts to
e different groups at 1:30 or so.

I have made arrangements for the West Point Arabic Language
Club to visit CIA on the afternoon of April 14, One of our senior
specialists in Middle Eastern military affairs will make a presenta-
tion. If you wish, I can open the visit with a presentation on CIA
and the intelligence process. Please let me know how much time to
allocate for your visit and I will also need the names of the cadets
and verification of their clearances,
Last year I made similar arrangements for the West Point French,
German, Russian, and Chinese Language Clubs. I would appreciate it
if you would check with the faculty advisers of those and other
clubs to determine'if they also plan to request visits to CIA this
year.. If more than one club plans to be here at the same. time, I
would prefer to make all of the arrangements through a central con-
tact, Thank you.

The Arabic Language Club of the United States Military
Academy is planning a trip to Washington, D.C. from 14 to 16
April. We would be interested in a briefing on the organi-
zation and work involved in the Central Intelligence Agency,
especially where it concerns Middle East military affairs.
The best time for us to come would be Friday afternoon,
the fourteenth of April, around 1400-hours. The total num-
ber of cadets involved would be approximately thirty-five
(35), all of whom possess a secret security clearance. I
hope this time and date suit your schedule.
Please advise us if a visit would be possible, and if
there are any procedures or requirements necessary to make
this visit possible. Thank you.
