My name is Blaine Bull and I am a student at Texas A&M University. I am also a member
of the Political Forum Committee here on campus. Political Forum is a school organ-
ization whose-function is to increase student awareness of the political issues.
Political Forum is planning a trip to Washington D.C., March 12-18, 1978. The pur-
pose of this letter is to invite you to speak to our group of fifty. With all the
negative publicity the C.I.A. has been getting the last couple of years, the stu-
dents here at Texas A&M seem to be at a loss to explain the functions of the C.I.A.
We were hoping that you might shed some light on this subject to our group. If
you are unable to speak to our group perhaps you can let us know of someone who card.
We would appreciate your responding to our inquiry as soon as possible. Thank you
very much for your time and effort.
