I know of an airplane being experimentally built that will do everything
an AWACS will do, do it better, from a much smaller base, and at a remarkably
cheaper price. I estimate that this aircraft can perform the duties of
one AWACS at ten percent of the cost, something we should consider.
If you are interested in this, I have information I can send you and we
can move from there. It's an entirely new concept, and I really believe
that a number of these planes, quite a number, in fact, could completely
cover the world and keep us informed. of the movements of any troops or
equipment any place. And, as you know, when we know those things, we
can prevent war.
