(U) ? - e-`IG should, by 30 September 1984, 1) Compile and eva).uate the status of existing US-sponsored initiatives for imprpving NATO's conventional forces; 2) Develop a framework for work to integrate USG efforts to pursue these initiatives; * -'3) Evaluate any existing or proposed initiatives from other NATO sources (e.g., SACEUR, SYG Carrington); 4) Coordinate the integration of these initiatives into the broader policy conte:ct; =-5) Coordinate and publish detailed terms of reference for the responsibilities. included in this project.
