As you know, this is an area designated by the President to be vital to U.S. national security. Because of superb and unflagging efforts by STAT STAT we have been able to effect SIAI fundamental changes in a nuclear program which if continued could have led to troublesome and serious consequences for U.S. security policy in that region. That the difficulties were overcome was in large measure due to the reporting and quick nnnn rovided to U.S. policy officials on the scene in These three officers exemplify the qualities that make for s-Liccess when close coordination is required to support U.S. National Security interests. Please inform them of my congratulations for brilliant and distinguished performances of their duties and my thanks for their significant contribution to a major nuclear non-proliferation icy achievement.
