2. A coordination meeting was held 2 May 1984 to discuss an earlier
draft. The study is being coordinated at the working level only and will
not go before NFIB.
agency Intelligence Assessment. The principal drafter is
Office of Soviet Analysis.
3. The assessment was undertaken at the request of Hugh Montgomery,
Director, INR. It was preceded by a technical report on U.S. Space Sensor
Sensitivities, dated September 1983, carried out by an Imagery Planning
Subcommittee of COMIREX.
