PLANS AND PROGRAMS STAFF WEEKLY REPORT FOR
PERIOD ENDING 6 APRIL 1983
1. Progress Report on Tasks Assigned by the DCI/DDCI:
No tasks assigned during this reporting period.
2. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occurred
During the Preceding Week:
a. LIMS
(1) P&PS and AD/PP/OF are in the process of evaluating
Requisition Module requirements, as currently documented. The
content of this module is, of course, the key to the entire system
in that it provides the entry of all customer requests into the
system, assures their validity, and routes them to the action
modules. Concerns, questions, and critiques of this module will
be forwarded to the SDG for resolution today. This will initiate
an on-going dialogue that will ultimately resolve issues,
problems, and methodologies.
(2) Revised project milestones (to be used for the next
MBO update) have been received from the Project Manager. Most
milestones, including DEVCON award, for the first five months of
calendar 1983, reflect 2-10 weeks slippage. This is due, in pan", STAT
to resource shortages.
b. Regulation Revisions
The following regulations were reviewed, commented upon,STAT
concurred in, or published during the past week:
Cable Handbook - Non concurrence. We
questioned whether it can be stated in an HR or HHB that
the IBM Selectric is the only typewriter that can be used
for cables. Instead, we recommended that the handbook say
"IBM Code 108 font or equivalent". Other comments were
minor, but we had many--the two handbooks together con- STAT
tained 260 pages!
Insurance - Concurred
Cha ter V Custody of Funds - Concurred.
Last week we had reported nonconcurxence on the HR and
HHB, same subject.)
