I. Progress Report on Tasks Assigned by the DCI/DDCI:

II. Items/Events of Major Interest:
b. Renovation of Office of Securityr ((OS) Training Room: The
Director of Security approved the design proposal for coordinated
wallpaper, carpet, and acoustic fabric and for refurbishing the
theater seats in the OS Training Room, GA13 Headquarters. Speci-
fications are being provided to the Logistics Staff, OS for proc-
essing.
c. Renovations at Chamber of Commerce Building: Renovations
for the Office of Training and Education in their Communications
Equipment Room, 502-505 Chamber of Commerce Building, were
completed last week by and
were inspected by GSA. The total cost of construction was

d. Renovation of Ames Building Reception Area: On 21 June
1983 renovation of the reception area of the Washington Area
Recruitment Office in Ames Building was begun. Work is expected
to be completed in approximately three weeks.
f. Temporary Chilled Water Service: The Architectural
Design Staff (ADS) prepared recommendations and sketches for
penetration of windows in Room GE78 Headquarters for temporary hook-
up of a movable chilled water supply. Sketches were presented to
the Headquarters Engineering Branch, Real Estate and Construction 25X1
Division, OL, which will prepare working drawings for the con-
tractor from the ADS sketches.
h. Installation of Deep Fryer: A deep fryer was installed
in the Executive Dining Room kitchen on 18 June 1983. Effective
20 June, the EDR menu was expanded to include a variety of seafood
dishes--shrimp, crab, scallops, clams and oysters--and side orders
of french fried potatoes and onion rings.

i. Correction: Item e. of LSD's Weekly Report for the week
ending 15 June 1983 pertained to the inventory of the stockroom
at the Motor Pool rather than at Headquarters as reported. 0 25X1
