1. Progress reports on tasks assigned by DCI/DDCI:
None pending.
2. Items/events of interest:
d. The Office of Data Processing has completed the FY-83 replacement
program for Delta Data terminals; 100 Delta Data 5260 terminals were replaced
with 7260 models.
e. The SAFE monthly management status review is being held at the
Pentagon on 10 June. The DIA SAFE Early Capability training class with 20 DIA
personnel started at Arlington Hall on 3 June.

for briefings on 3/4 June.
g. The Military Operations Familiarization Course, consisting of 60
students, began on 1 June. The class structure is as follows: Army - 35,
Air Force - 14, Marines - 8, and Navy - 3.

i. In accordance with a unique advance agreement clause in
for five Central Processing Units for the Ruffing Computer Center and
the SAFE program, a savings totaling $1,583,000 was realized.
3. Significant activities anticipated during the coming week.
The Deputy Director for Administration and representatives of the
Building Planning Staff will visit the AFE firm,

the design of the new building.
