1. Progress Report on Tasks Assigned by the DCI/DDCI:
No tasks assigned during this reporting period.
2. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occurred
During the Preceding Week:
a. LIMS
(1) The LIMS Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Chapters
1-5, was approved and baselined in a CCB meeting, 26 May. Sub-
sequent chapters are in preparation (draft versions).
(2) The ODP Quality Assurance Group is creating a
GIMS data base known as the Status Accounting System for LIMS.
This system will provide the status of action items, discrepancy
reports, requests for changes--and a historical record of these
items once they have been completed. A LIMS calendar of events
will become available. Query capabilities will permit the re-
covery of selected information by the user. A user manual and
system training will be provided.
(3) A due date of 10 June has been established for the
delivery of the draft Detailed System Requirements Document to
the development contractor. P&PS is assisting in the preparation
of this draft.
