c. Meeting with Interior Department Officials
A meeting was held between representatives of Supply
Division and the Department of the Interior on 12 October 1983 at
the request of the Department of Interior officials. The purpose of
the meeting was to discuss record keeping and problems associated
with the state registration of law enforcement vehicles. Interior

CONUS, and these representatives are responsible for establishing
guidelines and publishing regulations for their various internal
organizations.

aware of many of the stumbling blocks involved in such a program.
They were most appreciative of the information provided, which was
of general nature. They had previously met with FBI officials on

I. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occured during the
Preceding Week:
a. Support to the Office of SIGINT Operations (OSO): Two aircraft
were met at Andrews Air Force Base during this reporting period. A total
of five pieces, 792 pounds was onloaded and 36 pieces, 13,591 pounds were
offloaded and delivered to various locations in the intelligence community.

Weekly Report - 17 October 1983
h. Renovations:
1. OC RER Facility: Cutting of the concrete floor has been
completed and excavation of dirt is underway in preparation for
pouring footings scheduled for 18 October.
2. Repaving Project: The contractor submitted a bid of $93,000
to excavate and repave the Receiving Dock area. The GSA estimator
reviewed the bid and anticipated $60,000 to complete the job. A
negotiation meeting between the contractor and GSA is scheduled
the week of 17 October to resolve differences.
