1. Progress Report of Tasks Assigned by the DCI/DDCI:

2. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occurred
During the Preceding Week:
b. Request For Proposal (RFP) 84B-252: The initial draft
of RFP 84B-252, for performance of Wang installation and
maintenance, has been completed and is to be distributed for
review by the appropriate technical and procurement personnel.
The proposed contract will cover services at various Agency
domestic locations. Options will include both an expansion
provision for the number of technicians assigned to this
effort, and renewals on an annual basis for four years.
Release of the RFP is anticipated to be in January.

d. LIMS Development Progress: Final versions of the
Interface Control Documents for the interface between LIMS and
the Financial Resources System, the General Accounting System,
the Security Information Management System, and the Federal
Automated Requisition System were delivered to the Government
for review and acceptance. This delivery included resolutions
for all outstanding discrepancy reports. In addition, preview
copies of the Conversion, General, Reveiving, Requisition and
Management Information Computer Program Configuration Item
(CPCI) design descriptions were delivered to allow an early
beginning for the Quality Assurance audit and review of the
LIMS Preliminary System Design Document. Remaining CPCI
descriptions will be provided as they are completed.
