Preceding Week:
a. Office Of Data Processing (ODP) Request For Proposal (RFP)
84B-236: This RFP for System Development Enhancement was due in
1 March 1984. Of the seventeen bidders solicited, only four
responded (Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Computer Sciences Corp., BTG,
Inc., and General Electric Company). Evaluation by the Technical
and Cost teams is ongoing and is scheduled to continue through
b. DIA/SAFE Equipment Relocation: IBM completed the move of the
DIA/SAFE IBM computer equipment from Headquarters to the DIAC
facility at Bolling Air Force Base on 16 March 1984. The total cost
for the relocation effort is $47,617.50.

84B-285: Based on cost studies and analysis, ODP has determined
that it is in the best interest of the Government to convert two
Xerox 9700 laser printers to Agency property by use of a four year
base-to-ownership plan. In lieu of any such plan offered by Xerox,
ADP&EB is negotiating third-party financing via RFP 84B-285. The
payment is $184,000.
