Progress Report on Tasks Assigned by the DCI/DDCI: No tasks assigned during this reporting period. 2. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occurred During the Preceding Week: a. LIMS Booz-Allen & Hamilton (BAH) is in the process of finalizing its design approach for the first work package (WP1) which is scheduled to become operational in February 1985. Drafts of the WP1 documentation will be delivered to the LIMS team 9 May, for government review and comment. Upon completion of this review, BAH will be asked to make any changes deemed necessary by the government and finalize the documentation. This documentation will then be used to conduct the Critical Design Review which is scheduled to begin on 11 June 1985. (1) As the result of a conversation with the Chief/LSD/MISG/ODP on the subject of updating ASAPS, a form 930 was prepared and submitted to this organization to enhance ASAPS and develop a Wang Alliance capability using the enhanced version. This enhanced version will be applied to PC developments where relevant. (2) An improved version of the position description that applies to the P&PD ADBA position has been completed, after P&PD coordination. This version will be used as a basis for other ADBA positions. (3) A DAS Newsletter has been prepared and will be mailed to incumbents of DAS-designated positions. This replaces the need for periodic briefings on topics of general interest where less than 100% attendance can be expected. c. Regulations - The following regulations were written, reviewed, commented upon, concurred in, or published during the past week: conjunction with PMS and submitted to OIS RCD. Major Activities (luring the Past Week- A. Support to OL: CONIF (Contract Information System). The AM/ADD procedure was modified to correct a "value too large for the hold file" error. A hold statement that was being built would sometimes have so much data loaded into it that GIMS could not process the statement and the procedure would ahend. The modified procedure is now being tested by the data hasp mananor nd should be loaded STAT onto CONIF3 sometime this week. 'U) II. General Items: None to report. III. Problems- A. Support to OL: ICS (Inventory Control System). Processing of the ICSGAS Procedure continues to fail on the ACT extract due to users being on the data base during execution. All parties involved are reviewing several alternatives to resolve these problems and will meet early next week to decide upon which one to implement- STAT (U) IV. Upcoming Events- None to report.
