The Security Education Group (SEG) has expressed thanks to all who assisted in the practice interviews. SEG will host a cocktail party for the agents on 6 April at 1730 hours in the Executive Dinin Room. All OS personnel are invited and several are expected to attend. 3. Possible Relief from Retirement Changes The DCI recently received a letter from HPSCI Chairman Edward P. Boland regarding the contem lated changes in federal retirement plans. advised that the letter expresses the Chairman s concern regarding the impact of the proposed changes on the Agency and that it also expresses the Chairman's support in the Agency's effort to win relief from the changes. He added that the letter states that there will be no House of Representatives action on the changes in 1983. 4. Recruitment advised that senior Agency management continues to have strong interest in recruitment, especially the CT program. In support of this effort, advised that the Office has submitted a paper 25X1 addressing recruitment and the impact of drug use on the program. 8. OS Managers Meet with State Department Counterparts and senior physical and technical security 25X1 o icers met with their State Department counterparts to discuss various activities involving the security of U.S. Embassies. In this discussion, deficiencies were identified 25X1 and several types of security enhancement were reviewed.
