Item 4 - Basic SCI Accountability Requirements
(Note: The draft DCID 1/19 calls for keeping records of
receipt of an SCI document for "at least six months" after receipt
no matter how long the document is retained. Remember that we do
not require internal accountability within a SCIF. Resource
shortages are cited by several members as reasons not.to hold
receipts longer than 6 months. We thus face a possibility if
we adopt this recommendation, 7 months after receipt of an SCI
document, a SCIF could not tell us if they have it. We really
should watch this one.)
